Solid Rock Day Camp has been blessed to be able to offer camper scholarships to many campers and families throughout the years. It is our desire that all kids should have the opportunity to come to camp and in Mark 10:14, Jesus says, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them…”
At Solid Rock, we strive to remove any hindrance that may keep a child from attending camp. We do our best to price our camps at a very affordable level. Nevertheless, we understand that for some, those fees are still out of reach. Through generous donors, who have the same desire to see children enjoy camp, we are pleased to be able to offer scholarships to campers that might otherwise not be able to attend camp. Please, don’t let finances be a hindrance that keeps your child from attending camp this summer!
How You Can Apply
- Complete the Camper Scholarship Application Form and submit it to the camp office. Scholarships are awarded based on need on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Check with other sources (e.g. family, friends, churches, local social services, etc.) to see if funding is available for your situation. Passaic County residents can contact 4C’s at 973-684-1904. Morris County residents can contact Child & Family Resources at 973-398-1730. Morris and Sussex County residents can contact Norwescap at 908-454-7000.
- The camp office will contact you with any questions and what financial assistance can be provided.
- If approved, you will need to complete the camper application process, which can be done through our online registration. All applicants will be expected to pay at least the $30 registration fee.
