The Camper Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the scholarship program is to allow local youth, who could otherwise not afford to attend camp, the opportunity to come for a week of camp. Throughout the years, the Camper Scholarship Fund has allowed over 110 underprivileged young people to come to camp that could not otherwise have afforded to come. All of these scholarship campers have seen and heard of the love of Christ and have had the truth of God shared with them – finding the answers to life’s problems in God and God alone.

Financial assistance will be provided in full or part depending on the family’s need and the funding that is received by local businesses, churches and individuals who would like to help send a child to camp. All scholarships are given on a first-come, first-served and as-needed basis for any boy or girl between the ages of 4-14. As part of the scholarship application process, families are required to seek additional financial assistance from their employer, local church, 4-C Program and/or DYFS to see if they can receive any assistance from these resources. After review of their application and verification of their seeking assistance from the above mentioned avenues, the scholarship fund will seek to pay the rest of the basic tuition and transportation cost. The fund does not cover extra activities such as clinics, special outings, and food or candy items.

$295 will provide a full week scholarship for one camper. Providing an entire scholarship would be wonderful, but any portion you can contribute is greatly appreciated.

The typical annual need for the Camper Scholarship Fund is $10,000.
